Bell tower for the Kiriaini Parish Church
While living in Kenya, he was asked by the Kiriaini Parish Council to design a bell tower for the parish church. The requirements were to design a structure which would become a landmark on a very tight budget, with the added complication of the strong winds often blowing. The resulting reinforced concrete, bricks and stone blocks structure with an aluminium cross, was built and finished in 1974.
